I began my Van Mossel journey at Poole Audi in 2018, and since then I’ve experienced continuous professional growth and development. In 2019, I was promoted to Diagnostic Technician, which marked an important step forward in building my technical expertise. As I progressed, I was given further opportunities to expand my skills and take on greater responsibility, leading to my promotion to Senior Diagnostic Technician in 2022. Most recently, in 2023, I achieved the position of Master Technician. Throughout my time here, I have been provided with a supportive environment with clear pathways for progression, ongoing training, and the chance to develop at every stage of my career. It’s a workplace that genuinely invests in its people and encourages you to reach your full potential.

I first joined Van Mossel in 2017 as a Temporary Host, with a two-week contract. The initial warm welcome I received made me feel right at home. Fast forward five months and a Group Marketing Assistant position became available. I applied and, with no experience but a passion for marketing, I was over the moon to be accepted. As the business has grown, the marketing team and my role have also grown - I am now Marketing Executive with responsibility for the Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle brands. Van Mossel has also supported me with a CIM qualification, to support my continuous professional development.

Seven years ago, I stepped into Volkswagen with no experience in the motor industry, starting as a Sales Executive. From day one, I was welcomed into a company that truly lives and breathes a family culture. What stood out to me was the genuine support, encouragement, and belief the team had in me – something that isn’t just talked about here, but acted upon every day. Through continuous opportunities for development and a real focus on internal progression, I’ve had the chance to grow both personally and professionally. Over the years, I’ve moved from Sales Executive to Senior Sales Executive, then to Transaction Manager, and now I’m proud to be stepping into my latest role as Retail Manager. I’m incredibly grateful for the trust, mentorship, and environment the company has provided. It’s a place where hard work is recognised, growth is nurtured, and people are truly valued. I look forward to the future and continuing to be part of such an inspiring team.

I have been a member of our dedicated team at Poole Accident Repair since 2022 and enjoy the variation in my job role. Throughout my time with the company, I have discovered a real passion for finance and have developed a vast array of knowledge along the way. My day-to-day job involves supporting our customer service and admin team and ensuring we have parts and courtesy cars available for our customers. I also focus on invoices and payments towards the end of each month. At Poole Accident Repair we are a very hardworking, dedicated team and I feel very lucky to work in such a positive environment. I look forward to watching the continued success of the business and am excited to see what my career has in store for the future.
